Zapisi o iskanju nadnaravnega
Sou Shen Ji, or In Search of the Supernatural, is a classical Chinese collection of brief accounts of spirits, omens, miracles, and strange events, traditionally attributed to Gan Bao. It survives in a later recension in twenty scrolls.
Kako smo pripravili besedila
We divided all 20 scrolls into 464 short entries, following the clear blank lines in the transcript we used. Since the individual entries have no original titles, we did not invent any: the import uses only a neutral scroll label and a sequential number.
Vir, izdaja in pravice
The ancient Chinese text is in the public domain. The Chinese Wikisource transcription of all 20 scrolls, published under CC BY-SA 4.0, is used. Waltey preserves the scroll divisions and the boundaries of the 464 blocks, and clearly states that this is the received Ming recension, not Gan Bao’s autograph.
