In Jiangdong there is a fish called “Yufu.” Long ago, Helü, king of Wu, was traveling along the river when he ate some thinly sliced raw fish. He tossed the leftovers into midstream, and they all turned into fish. Even today, there is a fish known as “the King of Wu’s Leftover Slices,” a few inches long, the larger ones the size of a chopstick, still shaped like slices of raw fish.
