Prevod
Under Emperor Cheng, on the gengzi day of the second month, a kite’s nest caught fire in Shansang Valley on Mount Tai. A man named Sun Tong and others heard the cries of kites and magpies flocking in the mountains and went to investigate. They saw the nest burning, and the whole of it fell into a pool. Three kite nestlings were burned to death. The tree was four armspans in girth, and the nest stood five zhang and five chi above the ground. The Book of Changes says: “The bird’s nest burns. The traveler first laughs, then weeps and wails.” In the end, the calamity of a change of dynasty indeed came to pass.
