O Grimmovih pravljicah
Grimm’s fairy tales are among Europe’s most influential collections of folk tales and stories reshaped into literary form. In Waltey, they serve as a nexus of motifs: the forest, the prohibition, the trial, the helper, punishment, reward, and the magical object.

The surviving German working source contains 201 titled texts, each imported as a separate chapter. The Slovenian translations are linked to the original German chapters. The Brothers Grimm’s collection was shaped by the editorial and stylistic practices of its time; it is not a verbatim transcription of oral storytelling preserved unchanged.
Vir, izdaja in pravice
The texts of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm are in the public domain. Waltey retains the German DOCX used, but neither the specific edition of Kinder- und Hausmärchen nor the web address of the digital transcription was recorded during the initial import. The number 201 therefore refers to the preserved working source, not to the KHM canon as a whole. Before importing the text again, we will address this gap by using an edition with a clearly identifiable facsimile and numbering.
