Prevod
Once a man was sitting with his wife outside their front door, with a roast chicken before them that they meant to eat together. Then the man saw his old father coming along, and quickly took the chicken and hid it, for he begrudged him even a morsel. The old man came, had a drink, and went away. Now the son was about to put the roast chicken back on the table, but when he reached for it, it had turned into a great toad, which leaped onto his face and clung there, refusing to leave; and whenever anyone tried to remove it, it gave them a venomous look, as though it meant to leap onto their face too, so that no one dared touch it. And the ungrateful son had to feed the toad every day, or else it would eat the flesh from his face; and so he wandered to and fro through the world without rest.
