O zbirki Uji Shūi Monogatari
Uji Shūi Monogatari is a medieval Japanese collection of short tales about monks, spirits, miracles, deceptions, and strange events in everyday life. The collection has no single known author and brings together stories from a variety of sources.
Kako smo pripravili besedila
We imported all 197 tales according to the collection’s standard divisions. The text is based on a transcription of the Yōmei Bunko manuscript from the Yatanavi 2.1 package. The transcription partially normalizes characters and iteration marks, so we do not describe it as a fully diplomatic reproduction of the manuscript.
Vir, izdaja in pravice
The medieval work is in the public domain. The 翻刻 section on Yatanavi is used here, and the package’s author expressly permits its free use. The separate 校訂本文 section, edited to modern standards, is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0; Waltey clearly distinguishes between the two layers when documenting provenance.
