We have prepared 37 items from an OCR transcription of a historical reprint published in 1892, which reproduces the 1882 collection. We have manually checked the opening pages of each fairy tale, but owing to the old typeface, the OCR transcription still needs to be compared in full with the facsimile.
The facsimile used is available on Wikimedia Commons, where it is marked as being in the public domain. Ispirescu died in 1887. The source citation distinguishes between the collection’s first publication in 1882 and the historical reprint from 1892 used here.
