Prevod

A wolf, walking through a field, found some barley. Unable to eat it, he left it and went on his way. When he met a horse, he invited him back to the field, saying that he had found some barley but had not eaten it himself: he had saved it for the horse, because he enjoyed hearing the sound of his teeth as he chewed. The horse replied, “My good fellow, if wolves could eat barley, you would never have put your ears before your stomach.” The story shows that those who are wicked by nature are not believed even when they profess kindness.
