Prevod

A wolf who had swallowed a bone went about looking for someone to cure him. Coming upon a heron, he begged the bird to remove the bone in return for a reward. The heron lowered his head into the wolf’s throat, pulled out the bone, and asked for the promised payment. But the wolf laughed, bared his teeth, and said, “It should be enough for you to have got your head out unharmed.” The fable shows that the greatest kindness one can expect from the wicked is to suffer no further injury at their hands.
