Pes z uradniško kapo

During Emperor Zhao’s reign, He, Prince of Changyi, saw a large white dog wearing a fangshan crown and lacking a tail. Later, during the Xiping era, people in the palace put crowns and official ribbons on dogs for amusement. One dog suddenly dashed out and ran through the gates of the Minister of Works’ residence; all who saw it were astonished and thought it uncanny. Jing Fang’s Commentary on the Changes says: “When the ruler is not upright and his ministers seek to usurp the throne, the portent is a crowned dog emerging through the court gates.”
