Prevod
A bat fell to the ground and was caught by a weasel. About to be killed, she begged for her life. The weasel said she could not let her go, for she was by nature at war with all winged creatures. The bat declared that she was not a bird but a mouse, and so was set free. Later, she fell again and was caught by another weasel, whom she begged not to eat her. When this weasel said she hated all mice, the bat declared that she was not a mouse but a bat, and once again was released. Thus, by changing her name twice, she managed to save her life.
The fable shows that we too should not always cling to the same position, bearing in mind that those who adapt to circumstances often escape danger.
