Prevod

A hunter had caught a hare and was carrying it along the road when he met a man on horseback, who asked to see the hare under the pretense of buying it. Once the horseman had taken the hare from the hunter, he immediately galloped away. The hunter ran after him, imagining he could catch him. But when the horseman was far ahead, the hunter reluctantly called out to him, “Go on, then! I have already made you a present of the hare.” The fable shows how many people, when their possessions are taken from them against their will, pretend to have given them away freely.
