A wild boar stood beside a tree, sharpening his tusks. A fox asked him why he was sharpening them when there was neither a hunter nor any danger at hand. He replied, “I am not doing this for nothing. If danger overtakes me, I shall have no time to spend sharpening my tusks; I shall need them ready for use.” The tale teaches that we must make our preparations before danger comes.
