Prevod

A famished wolf wandered about in search of food. Coming to a certain place, he heard a child crying and an old woman saying to it, “Stop crying, or I shall give you to the wolf this very moment.” Believing that the old woman meant what she said, the wolf stood waiting for a long time. But when evening came, he heard her again, soothing the child and saying, “If the wolf comes here, my child, we shall kill him.” Hearing this, the wolf went away, saying, “In this house they say one thing and do another.” The fable is for those whose deeds do not match their words.
