Prevod

An eagle was once caught by a man who immediately plucked out its flight feathers and kept it in his house among the chickens. The eagle drooped in misery. Another man bought it from him and soon restored its wings. The eagle flew off, caught a hare, and brought it straight to his benefactor as a gift. Seeing this, a fox cried out, “You should offer gifts not to this man, but to the first, lest he hunt you down again and strip you of your feathers once more.” The fable shows that we should repay our benefactors with kindness and keep clear of the wicked.
