Prevod
At an assembly of the animals, a monkey danced so well that they elected him king. A fox, jealous of him, spotted a piece of meat lying in a trap and led him to it. She told him that she had found a treasure but had not taken it for herself; instead, she had kept it for him as a tribute to his kingship, and she urged him to take it. The monkey approached without a thought and was caught in the trap. When he accused the fox of laying an ambush for him, she said, “Monkey, with so little sense, do you really mean to rule the animals?” So those who undertake things without thinking not only come to grief but also make themselves a laughingstock.
