Waltey

Prevod

There was once a blacksmith who had a little dog. While he worked at his forge, the dog slept; but when he sat down to eat, it was wide awake. One day he tossed it a bone, saying, “You wretched, sleepy little dog, what am I to do with you, so overcome by laziness? Whenever I strike my anvil, you stretch out on your bed; but the moment I start working my jaws, up you jump and wag your tail at me.” This fable rebukes sleepy idlers who look to the labors of others for their living.
