During the Wei dynasty, a tomb was opened at Taiyuan. When the coffin was broken open, a living woman was found inside. They brought her out and spoke with her: she was indeed alive. She was sent to the capital and questioned about her past, but knew nothing of it. Judging by the trees growing over her grave, some thirty years had passed. Had this woman remained alive underground all those thirty years? Or had she suddenly come back to life that very day, just as the tomb was opened?
