Prevod
A cicada was singing in a tall tree. A fox, wanting to eat him, devised the following plan. Standing opposite the tree, she praised the beauty of his voice and urged him to come down, saying that she longed to see how large a creature could make so great a sound. But the cicada, suspecting a trick, said to the fox, “You are quite mistaken, my dear, if you thought I would come down. I have been on my guard against foxes ever since I saw a cicada’s wings in a fox’s droppings.”
The misfortunes of others teach the wise to be cautious.
