Prevod

A lion once traveled with a man. As they went, each boasted to the other. Along the road they came upon a stone statue of a man strangling a lion. Pointing to it, the man said, “See how we are superior to all of you, and stronger than any wild beast.” The lion replied, “That is how things look when you are the ones who make them. If lions knew how to carve stone, you would see many men beneath the paws of lions.” The fable shows that many people try to glorify themselves with boastful words, though they are not what they claim to be.
