Prevod
During the Taikang era, people throughout the realm performed a dance called “Peace in the Jin Age.” The dancers lowered their hands to hold cups and platters, turning them over and back again. The song went: “In the Peace in the Jin Age dance, cups and platters turn and overturn.” This was an omen of the gravest peril. Cups and platters are vessels for drinking; that the dance was called “Peace in the Jin Age” suggested that people of the time lived only for the moment, eating and drinking, their thoughts reaching no farther than the vessels in their hands.
