In the morning, as he set out, a south wind would blow and carry him to the island in the north. In the evening, once he had cut wood and loaded it into his boat, a north wind would rise and carry him home. He went on in this way for years, until the emperor heard of him, made him a minister, and took him into his service. His name, it is said, was Zheng Taiwei.
