Prevod
A country mouse became friends with a town mouse, and, to seal their friendship, he was the first to invite the town mouse to his home in the fields. There he welcomed him and set before him such fare as the countryside provides for those who live there. To repay his hospitality, the town mouse brought the country mouse to town and took him into a wealthy man’s house. But just as they were about to taste the food, someone came along and interrupted them; every time they tried to eat, they were driven away before they could sample the delicacies. At last the country mouse said, “I am leaving. I prefer the simple fare of the fields to the luxuries of town.” So those who have modest possessions are better off than the rich.
