During the reign of Sun Xiu of Wu, Chen Jiao, a man of Anwu, died. Seven days later he returned to life and broke out of his tomb in Wucheng. This was an auspicious omen foretelling that Sun Hao, born to a deposed branch of the royal house, would ascend the throne.
