Prevod

The King of Guangchuan of the Han dynasty was fond of breaking open tombs. When he opened the tomb of Luan Shu, he found that the coffin and burial objects had all crumbled away, leaving nothing intact. Only a white fox remained. Startled at the sight of people, it fled. The king’s attendants gave chase but could not catch it, though they wounded its left foot with a halberd. That night, the king dreamed that a man with snow-white beard and eyebrows came to him and said, “Why did you wound my left foot?” The man then struck the king’s left foot with a staff. When the king awoke, his foot was swollen and painful. A sore soon formed, and it never healed for the rest of his life.
