Waltey

Prevod

A lion wandering along the shore saw a dolphin rise to the surface and invited him to form an alliance, saying that it was only fitting for them to become friends and help one another. “For you are king of the creatures of the sea, and I of those on land.” The dolphin readily agreed. Not long afterward, the lion found himself fighting a wild bull and called on the dolphin for help. But though the dolphin wished to come out of the sea, he could not, and the lion accused him of betrayal. The dolphin replied, “Do not blame me, but nature, which made me a creature of the sea and does not allow me to set foot on land.” So we too, when forming friendships, should choose allies who can stand beside us wherever danger threatens.
