Grič žene, ki čaka moža
West of Poyang lies Husband-Watching Ridge. Long ago, a man of the county named Chen Ming was betrothed to a woman of the Mei family. Before they could wed, a demon came under the guise of fetching the bride and carried her away. Ming consulted a diviner, who pronounced, “Go fifty li to the northwest and seek her there.” Ming did as he was told and found a great cavern, so deep that its bottom could not be seen. Lowered into it on a rope, he found his bride. He had her hauled out first, but Qin Wen, the neighbor he had brought with him, then refused to pull Ming up. His bride vowed to remain faithful and climbed to the top of this ridge to watch for her husband. Thus the ridge received its name.
