A boy hunting grasshoppers came upon a scorpion. Seeing the boy’s innocence, the scorpion sharpened its sting and said, “Go away, boy, lest in trying to catch me too, you lose all those you have.” The fable shows that it is good to know the difference between good and evil, to do what is good and shun what is evil.
