Prevod
A shipwrecked man, washed ashore on a beach, fell asleep from exhaustion. After a little while he rose, looked out at the sea, and reproached it for luring people with its dazzling beauty, only to turn savage and destroy them once it had taken them into its embrace. The sea took the form of a woman and said to him, “My good man, do not blame me, but the winds. By nature I am as tranquil as the land; it is they who swoop down without warning, stirring up my waves and making me rage.” So too, when wrong is done, we should not blame those who carry it out under another’s command, but those who direct them.
