Bees were making honey in a hollow oak. A shepherd came upon them at their work and decided to take some of the honey. But the bees flew at him from every side and drove him back with their stings. At last the shepherd said, “I’m off! I have no wish for honey if it means having to face bees.” Ill-gotten gains bring danger to those who pursue them.
