Prevod

A fowler spread his nets for cranes and watched from a distance for his catch. When a stork alighted among the cranes, he rushed forward and caught it along with them. The stork begged him not to kill it, saying that it was not only harmless to people but most useful, since it caught and killed snakes and other creeping creatures. The fowler replied, “Even if you are no evildoer yourself, you deserve punishment for keeping company with the wicked.” So we too must shun the company of the wicked, lest we be thought to share in their wickedness.
