Prevod
A shepherd found a newborn wolf cub, took it home, and raised it among his dogs. When it had grown, whenever a wolf carried off a sheep, it would join the dogs in pursuit. Sometimes the dogs could not catch the wolf and turned back, but the young wolf would keep following until it caught up and, being a wolf itself, shared in the feast. Then it would return. If no wolf came from outside to carry off a sheep, it would secretly kill one itself and feast on it with the dogs. At last the shepherd suspected what was happening, discovered the truth, and hanged the wolf from a tree.
The fable shows that an evil nature cannot nurture a good character.
