Waltey

Prevod

A man who had killed someone was being pursued by his victim’s relatives. When he reached the River Nile, a wolf crossed his path. Frightened, he climbed a tree beside the river and hid there. But when he saw a viper coming toward him, he let himself drop into the river, where a crocodile caught him and devoured him.

The fable shows that for those stained with bloodguilt, no element—earth, air, or water—offers safety.
