Prevod

In the heat of summer, when thirst is most tormenting, a lion and a wild boar came to a little spring to drink. They quarreled over which of them should drink first, and soon their anger rose until each was bent on killing the other. But when they paused to catch their breath, they suddenly noticed vultures waiting to devour whichever of them fell. So they put an end to their feud and said, “It is better for us to become friends than food for vultures and ravens.” It is wise to settle bitter quarrels and rivalries, for they lead to an end that endangers everyone.
