Prevod

The bees, begrudging humans a share of their honey, went to Zeus and begged him to give them the power to kill with their stings anyone who approached their honeycombs. Zeus, angered by their spite, made it so that whenever they stung anyone, they would lose their sting and, with it, their lives. This fable applies to spiteful people who are willing to suffer harm themselves to hurt others.
