Prevod

A trumpeter, captured by the enemy while rallying his army, cried out, “Do not kill me, men, for no reason and to no purpose! I have killed none of you; I possess no weapon but this trumpet.” They answered him, “That is all the more reason for you to die: though you cannot fight yourself, you rouse everyone else to battle.” The fable shows that those who incite wicked and oppressive rulers to do harm bear the greater blame.
