Starci, ki so jim zrasli rogovi

In the ninth month of the first year of Emperor Jing of Han’s reign, a man over seventy from Xiami in Jiaodong grew horns, with hair upon them. Jing Fang’s Commentary on the Changes says: “When the chief minister monopolizes power, the portent is that people grow horns.” The Treatise on the Five Elements holds that people should no more grow horns than the feudal lords should dare raise troops against the imperial capital. Thereafter came the Rebellion of the Seven States. During the reign of Emperor Wu of Jin, a seventy-year-old man from Yuancheng also grew horns. This was perhaps an omen of the usurpation and turmoil brought about by Lun, Prince of Zhao.
