Prevod
Some wasps and partridges, parched with thirst, came to a farmer and asked him for a drink, promising to repay him for the water: the partridges would dig around his vines, while the wasps would patrol them and drive off thieves with their stings. But the farmer said, “I have two oxen that promise nothing yet do all the work. It is better, then, to give the water to them than to you.” The fable applies to scoundrels who promise to help but do great harm instead.
