Prevod
A sick man, asked by his doctor how he was feeling, said that he had been sweating far too much. The doctor said this was a good sign. When the doctor asked him a second time how he had been, he said that he had suffered chills and been shaken by violent shivering. The doctor said that this, too, was a good sign. Asked a third time how he was getting on, he said that he had developed dropsy. Once again, the doctor said this was a good sign. Then, when one of his family asked how he was, he replied, “My dear fellow, all these good signs are killing me.” The fable shows that the people we find most vexing are those who always want to tell us what we wish to hear.
