Prevod

A tortoise and a hare were arguing over which was faster. They agreed on a time and place for a race and went their separate ways. The hare, trusting in his natural speed, took the race lightly, lay down beside the road, and fell asleep. But the tortoise, knowing how slow she was, kept going without a pause. And so she passed the sleeping hare and reached the finish, claiming the prize for victory.

The tale shows that effort often triumphs over natural ability when it grows careless.
